Method 2. Use the left analog stick to highlight the PlayStation Store tile. This tile is the furthest one on the left. Press X. This opens the PlayStation Store. Highlight Search and press X. This opens the Search menu. Type the name of a game you want to download. You can use the on-screen keyboard to do this. As you type, a list of search results will appear. This screen also shows you a list of the day's most-searched games. Choose one by highlighting it and pressing X.

Highlight your game and press X. This brings up the game's screen. Highlight Download and press X. It's in the bottom-left area of the screen.

The game will now download to your PS4. If the option displays a price and reads Add to Cart instead of Download , you don't currently own a digital license for this game. When you pre-order a game, your wallet or payment method will be charged. If you change your mind before the content is released you'll be able to cancel the pre-order and receive a refund. If the game is released and the content hasn't started to download to your PlayStation console, you'll be able to cancel and request a refund within 14 days of making the pre-order.

To find the release date of a pre-order, search for the game on PlayStation Store. The release date will appear under the title of the game. Set up automatic downloads.
